I saw Stan Lee twice, first in the fight scene mentioned, then he walks right behind Peter as he's happily strutting down the street after deciding he's not going to be Spidey anymore. Who knows, he might have been in the crowds more often than that. Was he on the train?

I don't think he was on the train. I can usually spot his rug from miles away.

Maybe you are talking about someone else but there was an older guy that looks similar to Stan Lee that walked behind PP, but it wasn't him. Again, maybe you are talking about someone else than I am.

Hal Sparks, I think from Queer as Folk, but I know he's on the VH1 "I Love The" specials in the elevator with Spidey. I cringed when I saw him thinking it'd get cutesy, but it was hilarioiusly underplayed.
The bonus here (and why only Hal Sparks would have been appropriate for the scene) is that his character on Queer As Folk is not only a comic book fan who bought a comic book store, but also writes a comic book series that has just been optioned for the movies!

I was waiting for the tentacles to shout "I'll swallow your soul!" in the O.R. attack.
