Best Christopher Walken Performance...thread!

Just for you brizz...

I think Walken's performances are just so good, whatever he does. Some varied, but all have that distictness to not make them exactly the same each and every time. Along, with Sean Penn in "At Close Range" he gave an unbelievable performance and this is where this stems from. Also, surprised no one has done one for him.

It's gonna be hard to narrow to 9 since there are so many, but I will do my best to try and come up with at least the 9 most powerful or at least most popular. Here goes...

So which is his best performance?

Although I've not seen Deer Hunter yet, I'm gonna vote Suicide Kings.

Wayne's World 2

Just kidding. I went with The Dead Zone. Walken was terrific in the tragic role of Johnny Smith. My favorite performance of his which is ironic since he's made such a career out of playing villains.

I went with King of New York, while his performance in True Romance was great it was just to short,he was in the movie for like 5 minutes(although it was a great 5 minutes, that scene with Dennis Hopper is one of my favorites in motion picture history)

Not long enough to make the poll, but you've got to give a big thumbs up to his "Watch" speech in Pulp Fiction.

Envy for me. The only reason why I watched that crap was for Walken's brilliant performance

I thought Walken was really good in The Rundown. "You've got the moves. I'll give you that."

Since the thread title isn't limiting his performances to movies, then I'd have to say my favorite performance of his would be from:

Moviewise it'd be Deer Hunter.
Favorite "Christopher Walken cameo" would be Pulp Fiction.

I think Walken is great in every role. He just brings somethind different to the movie. I voted for Suicide Kings though. I probably quote him the most from Joe Dirt.

Definitely Bruce Dickinson, followed by the Weapon of Choice video, then Suicide Kings.

Just saw Envy tonight. Walken was awesome in this movie, totally worth the 50 cents I paid to see it.

Probably The Deer Hunter, but aside from some of those listed above, he was very good in The Mind Snatchers, and I thought he was one of the better Bond villains as Zorin in A View to a Kill.

Pulp Fiction always comes to mind. A small part, but still quintessential Walken.

I'm not sure but I will say that watching him in Brainstorm as a child is what made me a Walken fan from an early age.
