What movie is this?

Hey, hopefully somebody can help me remember what movie this is. I rented it about... eh... 6 months ago.

I really only remember bits and pieces but I'd like to see it again, or possibly buy it.

What I remember:
-A guy and his wife?
-Setting in the future
-Alien spaceship thing at the end
-Guy was running from the law
-Met a stranger and helped him get in the hospital (where he/his wife worked?) and got him medicine of his family

If anybody can help me remeber what movie this is I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
OuTrAgE

Nope...

Maybe this is a less known movie than I thought... or maybe my description is too vague.

I wish i could remember more.

Yeah, im pretty sure thats it.

If you haven't seen it you might wanna check it out. Its Sci-Fi if you like those kind of movies.

It was one of those that was PG-13 in the theater and then released as an R-rated film on DVD. Not much better than a movie of the week.

All I remember is that Gary Sinese was in it. And like MR, its a stretched out Philip K. Dick story.

Imposter is listed at Amazon.com. From the editorial review itsounds like that's it.

I never even heard of this film. Was it ever in the theaters? Was it a made for cable release? Anybody else see the film?

I guess I'll Netflix it.

I was under the impression that this movie was like one of the worst things commited to film. It sat on the shelf for like 2 years or something before being released... where it probably only lasted two weeks. I, obviously, haven't seen it, as I like to try to spend my money on good movies. But then I see Torque and that theory is shot to hell. Although, in all fairness, I didn't actually pay money for that one. But I'll never get those 81 minutes (that felt like 181) of my life back, and maybe that's what matters. I doubt I'll ever watch Impostor, but who knows? Maybe the critics, audiences, masochists, etc. were wrong.

Well, I have to admit I may be a little biased, as I really like Sinese's work (although I hated Snake Eyes), but I thought Imposter wasn't half bad. It kept me interested, and the pace was good... it didn't let you fall asleep, as far as I remember.

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty decent little sci-fi flick. There are most certainly worse movies out there.

I actually thought that Imposter was decent. It wasn't the best sci-fi, or the best Phillip Dick interpretation (I love the eclectic blend of sci-fi and film noir in his stories), but it was an entertaining film. I certainly wouldn't put it down with the likes of "Torque." A step above "Paycheck."

My ranking of Phillip Dick movies:
1.) Blade Runner
2.) Minority Report
3.) Imposter
4.) Anything else that I haven't seen.
5.) Paycheck

I thought Imposter was okay... here's my ranking. I really liked Screamers even though it was low budget and kinda crappy.

1 Total Recall (1990)
2 Screamers (1995)
3 Blade Runner (1982)
4 Impostor (2002)
5 Minority Report (2002)
6 Paycheck (2003)
