You figure everyone is selling the warrant to buy the stock.

Yes. it's the IPO of the day so everyone can see that it is new. They also see how much shrek 2 has made so far. Didn't the same thing happened last week? People jumped off the warrent on the comish free time zone to buy into other items and the week before they jumped off to buy into Potter (that was a mistake, now wasn't it) The commision from the warrent alone makes it a pain to unload but it is a lot of money to sit in one stock.

I believe they are moving the cash to somewhere else for the time being for a short time profit. The clear item that is on folks mind is Shrek 3 stock. at 90 bones it will be hot once it opens up later tonight and will surely go up a few points.

Has trading on SHRK3 started? It looks like it's up to $90.50 already.

Shrek 3 is moving like a rocket. up half a point so far

OK finally moving.

I doubt this will change much in our group since most of us probably bought some shares.

did you sell everything to buy 50k in shares

I was locked in to a long on Garfield which should pay more than this will. I sold a number of other things and still ended up with only 35k in shares.

That's the nice thing about gaining more cash, easy to pick up 50k shares of this and still play the other items like normal.

Predictions on how high SHRK 3 will go?

Yes, I did dump everything to get 50K of it- my portfolio has been pretty stagnant last couple weeks. Kept going the wrong way on F911...

I will keep quiet to protect my user name

You are on a roll for sure. Did you go long on any of the releases this week?

Predictions?

8-10 points easy. more is hard to say. It could go up more although expect a big sell off before the free commission period ends so people can move money and take the profits commission free also.

Sunday at 1. it's only a 24 hour window.

I actually didn't play any of the weekends. Infact I hardly ever play the weekends. The only one I ever put much faith on was Mean girls. It paid off extremely well but I just don't like the halt stuff. Makes me uneasy. So I don't normally long or short anything that halts.

I do short the hell out of them when they unfreeze. Always worth a good amount of change there since it's always a certaintity that people want to cash them out.

I had one hell of a week last week. I don't know how to explain it really. I have FH911 to thank really. Playing that really well gave me a 40%+ boost for the week. I'm not sure if I can continue but man, that was something else, wasn't it.

It sure was a great week. I actually have had a good season in spite of shorting shrek2 and shorting the shrek2 call

I am hoping for a 24 million garfield weekend. I keep thinking it has a chance.

I honestly do not think anyone is buying anything but shrek 3 right now. everything else seems slow.

Give it some time. if anything it was a nice +5.0 points and you can cash out before the 1 o'clock free fee time and make out like a bandit.

I think the down fall to this one will be when people start shorting before the fee free time frame runs out. But this will still be a fairly hot item since shrek 2 is doing such great numbers.

It is. However someone will have to give me two million in seed money for me to prove my point.

I can see it now.

Two Million Dollar Man

A normal man is given two million dollars and our cameras follow him around to see how his life changes.

Yeah, I've fantasized about being friends with Bill Gates. He could lend me $5 million for 1 year. He doesn't lose any money and I get to keep what I make.

I'm sure he could dig up $5 million from between his couch cushions
