I know that there is a negaitve attitude towards the garfield movie on the net. I know that its not going to change much when the movie is released. I tell that the movie is much better then cat in the hat and scooby doo. its true that its made for kids. It will probably be a huge hits with the kids. some movies like scooby doo and cat in the hat have done very well, even with the negative attitude on the net about the movie.
if you guys want to be ********* ***holes about it.. then go for it. I thinks its very immature.

people are just having some fun.

I guess if you wrote or directed the movie I could understand you getting upset. Since I assume you did not why get upset that people dislike a movie you may like.

One thing to learn about in this forum is that the odds are that most movies will be panned by the members.

Unless this was LOTR: Return of the Garfield then it might get some praise

Cast:

Director: Peter Jackson
Jon: Elijah Wood
Garfield:Andy Serkis
Odie:Sean Astin
Liz:Liv Tyler

I haven't heard that kind of movie criticism since my Fundamental Baptist days.....

Is Garfield still popular with kids now days??
Other than weekly comics in newspapers what other exposure do kids have of him?

It seems the time for a Garfield movie was back when it was on TV.

That's ok - the Jim Davis version of Garfield hasnt been funny for at least a decade either.

***EDIT*** And I'm willing to wager that those bootleg strips are at least 268 percent more funny that the best moments of Garfield: The Movie

***EDIT 2*** And if you think what we are doing here is wrong, for the love of god, do NOT google for Disfunctional Family Circus!

Wow, this thing was at zero on RT a while ago but has managed to crawl its way up to 11% as of this writing.

Anyone know the lowest that a movie has ever scored on RT?

*EDIT* Never mind -- found a bunch of 0% movies.
