Psycho Beach Party fans, please stand up
I watched it this morning, I recorded it on the satellite dish the other morning. I gotta say this movie was so bad it was awesome. Main reason I watched it was because Nick Brendan was in it, after a few minutes, I realized this was about the funniest thing I have seen in a very long time.

I like it because it knows that its supposed to be campy and it doesn't take it self seriously.
I wouldn't put it on my DVD wish list anytime soon but watching it a few times here and there on HBO was great.

I caught this on HBO a while back and I was just blown away with how much I loved it. I love the campy feel of the film, coming up with the perfect mix of the old "beach" idea and a serial killer deal. Not to mention that, in my opinion, Lauren Ambrose is just one of the most perfect creatures ever put on God's green Earth.
Mmmmmmmmm...
Anyway, this was one of the free DVDs I got last year when I was very much into all of those free DVD web sites.

Thank God for a Movie Channel free preview a few years ago or I wouldn't have ever seen this movie.
The DVD is still far too expensive for a blind-buy, so the only way for me ever to see it was to rent it (which nobody around me carries) or wait for it to be edited on cable television (since I don't get any pay channels). Thankfully during a free preview weekend, The Movie Channel showed it and I really dug the flick. Really weird campy humor that was right up my alley. I'd buy it if the DVD was under $15.

Only saw PBP once from start to end. Caught it in play a few times on satellite. Funny movie. Nice & campy. I only watched it originally cause of the BtVS connection Nick Brendon. The first view caught me completely off guard cause I was under the impression it was a "serious" movie.

No kidding. It's priced like a Criterion I keep hoping to find a used copy one day.

And I don't think many people have purchased the DVD.

I really enjoyed it. Any movie with Lauren Ambrose and Nicky Brendan can't be bad.
