Help me with a movie title.

Okay this movie is probably a mid to late 80's or early 90s film

It's basic premise is that of someone who drives a Chevy Nova (not sure if that is the specific car or not) who kidnaps little kids...the catch: you never see his face.

It also has a woman who sets out to find him and kill him.

I remember seeing it on television a long time ago and my mom recently asked about it. It is probably a television movie, but I am not 100% sure.

Anybody know the name?

Thanks.

Kevin,

No that's not it. I looked around the IMDB site and it says that John C. McKinley is the killer...while in this film you never see kidnapper who is driving the car and snatching the little kids.

Thanks for looking though!

No, it's called Wheels of Terror (1990), a thoroughly schlocky but action-packed made-for-cable ripoff of the even hokier The Car (1977), or Duel, if I may besmirch that great film by mentioning it in the same sentence as the other two.
Joanna Cassidy plays a school bus driver whose son is kidnapped by the "demon car" (which is not a Nova, but some souped-up muscle car - I believe a '71 Plymouth Roadrunner), and she spends the remainder of the film chasing it down.

That's it Norm de Plume.

I looked on IMDB and someone said it was an'74 Dodge Charger.

Not on dvd, but I am gonna have to get it for my mom. I thought it was pretty good--not great...but watchable.

Thanks!

Yes, looks like it was a '74 charger, although the two are alike in appearance.

You're right, the movie is entertaining and fairly intense.
