Lost Skeleton of Cadavra release question

I just saw this movie yesterday and enjoyed it. I went to the IMDB.com
to look up info on the movie and noticed it was made in 2001.

Since it appears that most also saw
this in 2004, does anyone know whay there was a 3 year gap between
filming and releasing it?

Was it unable to get a distributor until 3 years after it was made?

Most likely. It isn't what you call something studios would be jumping to want to distribute. Much would rather distribute something that is really bad by accident than something that is really bad on purpose.

Most likely. The film was done on a very low budget on digital video and made the way around film festivals until TriStar picked it up.
