Umfortunately, Catwoman might not be the big bomb that it should. Halle's looks alone will pull in some moviegoers. It wil definitely bomb, but maybe not the biggest bomb this summer.

Perhaps, but I'm looking forward to it .

But yeah, I'll go with Catwoman.

If they released CATWOMAN on Memorial Day weekend againest no new movie it would still bomb.
It would be #1, but with $13mil. and then drop 75% the following week.

I think many of those movies are not going to do well, but I still think Catwoman is the biggest bomb of them all.

Catwoman had a $100 mil budget so my vote goes to Catwoman. It also opens against the Bourne Supremecy which should get most of the action fare buisness. The Village, Manchurian Candidate and Thunderbirds open the week after. Expect Catwoman to drop like a rock.

For the summer, definitely Catwoman, but it will be tough to top The Alamo for bomb of 2004.

Whoa, Catwoman gets a lot of hostility here!
Probably I should watch the trailer (didn't bother yet.)
From the previews I've seen, unfortunately I have to go with Riddick.

Although I loved Pitch Black, this monster of a movie looks radiculos.

A bomb (or a hit) are defined by box office. Because plenty of films reviled by critics have made mucho money and vice versa.

I remember when the thread first started, someone voted for Spiderman - I guess they changed their mind.

Obviously, the point of this thread is all about the financial take of the movies, not their artistic merit.

Wow, even Catwoman may be able to scrounge up more than that! I believe that date should read May 9th though.

Catwoman is now over 62% with my vote. I'd have said "Alamo" but I guess it technically wasn't a summer flick.

I think your Riddick numbers seem low. Everything I read lists international BO being a little bit higher than the domestic take, for a total of like 110 million. Or so I recall.

The rest is on target. Thunderbirds had to hurt.

Wow, I forgot all about starting this thread way back when. "Catwoman" was a nobrainer but a lot of these others like "Riddick" and "Thunderbirds" did equally bad.

"Troy" got pegged as a mild disappointment but really when you factor in the huge international success it was one of the year's biggest hits!

Like I said, I got the numbers from one site. If they are wrong, link me another number and I'll update it. I thought that number seemed low, too.
