I don't know about this one I may stay away altogether. One one hand it is the first big Summer movie, but then again it looks like it could do mediocre business (overdone CGI).

Wow, my gut instincts on buying both the call and the put was a good one. People don't know which way to go right now so both will be going up. Those who doubt it and those who have confidence in it. While New York Minute put has gone down. It has no real competition other then a second week mean girls and it's clear that the twins will attract the typical crowd that made them billions as well as people like pixyjunket.

Why is it I generally do good on these choices but suck for picking films to invest in the long haul.

Uh, you're supposed to have your own insider information. Why aren't you snooping around finding out what productions are ramping up and see if they're listed at HSX.

It's not any secret why a majority of my long term stocks are Sony pics that are pretty much greenlit.

Did that. but I'm still in the chump change from the few I ate crow on.

I have my long term stocks on $5> fox productions down the pipe line in hand. Just waiting for them to start to make some noise.

I bought both Call and Put too, hopefully I can make a good judgement on when to dump them. But for now they are both earning me money.

edit-- Dumped the call as it started to go down. Glad I did, made a little profit, now the call is back to $2.00

Envy is having its unpleasant way with me right now. I'm just not sure whether or not to sell it.

Mean girls is at a price right now that it looks like it can pull out a profit in the end of the weekend. It's going up indeed.

Same here. The only way that I really made money today was by playing the options correctly.

Cool beans! I bought 10K shares when it dipped to $32 last week. Thanks to it being heavily promoted, I'm glad to see it pay off!

I had nothing in Mean Girls. My only money-maker this weekend was a Put on Bobby Jones.

I think I'm going to be bounced from my #1 spot.

I hit big! Sweet! I had the max number of shares bought in Mean Girls (50,000) at an average of just over $35. Just sold them all.
