MTV sure has a weird way of determining who and what are eligible.

And why is Sandler up for the nomination of Best Male performance instead of Best Comedic? They nominated Johnny Depp in both, too. Oh well, I don't really care, the show is usually fun to watch, I could care less about the actual awards.

Wonder why there're always R rated movies nominated when half of the people who watch the MTV MA aren't even old enough to get into one.

50 First Dates with the most nominations?? Hm, it was okay, I think Anger Management would've been a better choice as the Sandler movie of the year. I'll watch it like I usually do.

It's usually a somewhat entertaining show hopefully Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson will show up to make the show worth watching...

Why do they nominate great acting performances but not the great movies they were in?

I stopped watching this show two years ago when it seemed that everyone who was on the show seemed seemed to start every appearance with "BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH (insert corny comment ) In my new movie/show BLAH BLAH BLAH " It was just sooooooo obvious that all the guests were plugging whatever crap they were in.

They actually had a little integrity back in the day. Remember when they nominated Val Kilmer in Tombstone when nobody else did?

I can't believe how many nominations 50 First Dates received. It was average at best.

Will Smith sorta' parodied that last year. He was up there with Paul Walker, and they both just went a bit over the top with their plugging. I think they even had promo shirts on. It was funny.

I wonder what percentage of the voters actually saw Monster.
