Now why do I believe the film is ahead of it's time? Look at the film and it's parodying of television by showing Brad and Janet's problems in front of a live studio audience (basically the entire town of Denton) with manipulation from the people "involved" with the show that they're on.

Now look at reality television today.

Richard O'Brien is one smart ****er.
Maybe the idea is good, but the outcome is ****. Even with the killer soundtrack, it's hard to watch. Although with scenes like Shock Treatment (A way better version of this song is on the soundtrack), the good night song, and Thank God I'm a Man...it could have been really good.

Yeah, that was the one I was going to say, I saw it on Encore one day, way back.

Another would be If These Walls Could Talk 2, which I saw at my job.

Lets also not forget about:

Psycho II
Psycho III
Psycho IV: The Beginning...

Also, I can't believe they made a sequel to Splash! God, why? And with Amy Yasbeck too.

... and "The Talented Mr. Ripley" was already filmed in 1960 as Purpe Noon.

Neither are remakes, they're just based on the same books. "Ripley's Game", however is a sequel as a book.

This came on Starz last week. It was extemely painful to watch it, but I couldn't look away. Say what you want about the boneheads that run network TV, but at least they didn't commit this pilot to a full series.

If anyone is curious about this steaming load, it'll be on Starz Family on 4/30 (2:15 pm) and 5/1 (7:15 am).

"My Summer Story" is kind of a sequel to "A Christmas Story".

Never new it existed until I happened to pass by it in a video store.

I watched this Saturday, and it was truly horrible, ti was like a bad X-files story, with even worse production values. I was not expecting much, and this delivered even less.

Does a "Mini-series" that aired on TV count as a sequal?

I just like to believe that there was only the first Robocop and thats it really.

2 seemed silly

and 3....wow, i never knew a Robocop movie could suck and blow at the same time.

Not even close. And they only had 2 (extremely pathetic) "commercials in the film as well, with a different narrator. It is only 1:20, which adds to the low production sci-fi channel tv show feel, in fact I would not be surprised to see this airing 5 times a day on Sci-Fi chalnnel very soon.

I saw "The Last Days of Patton" when it was first shown. God knows why George C. Scott agreed to play in this made-for-TV stinker.
