What do you mean? The pics you captured were of after the gun went off.

I can understand the top photo being a continuity problem (if that is what you are getting at), but the bottom photo would be after, so how is that an issue?

MODS: Please edit title to reflect potential spoilers.

The top photo does not have a continuity problem. I just went through the scene and the gun has already gone off. You see Uma flinching there.

Nevermind. I see what you were getting at (the moving hole).

Okay, even I enjoy continuity "flubbs" but I gotta say you have too much time on your hands

Mr. Bullet-hole has appeared in a number of Tarintino's movies both intentionally and unintentionally.

My problem with the scene is that someone who's a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad manages to miss a target who is standing 5 feet in front of her by a few feet.

I did note that early in the film Uma's Death List names are in black marker and on the plane ride at the end of the movie she writes them down in red marker.

Kill Bill has a number of reported continuity "errors". Such things occur in all of Tarantino's films, intentional or not.

"My problem with the scene is that someone who's a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad manages to miss a target who is standing 5 feet in front of her by a few feet."

You don't think a woman who was also a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad would be able to dodge said bullet in such a speed the camera was unable to capture it? Deadly assassinater, deadly quick. Think about it... [smiley here]

Don't you guys realize by now that Quentin does this stuff on purpose?

In Pulp Fiction,
Spoiler:
when Vincent and Jules are in the apartment after they kill Brett, right before the guy in the bathroom comes out and shoots at them, there are already bullet holes in the wall. He put it in to create controversy over whether or not it really was a "miracle". Also, when the demands are shouted in the beginning of the movie by "Honey Bunny", they are a little different when the scene is repeated at the end.

He throws these little things in just to see if we are really paying attention in my opinion. I kind of enjoy them.

And to Coral:
Spoiler:
"According to Bill [Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox)] is one of the deadliest women in the world with an edged weapon". I'm pretty sure that doesn't cover guns.

Vernita was also trying to shoot through a box of cereal...not exactly you're best aim.

Interesting controversy's though...never noticed a few of these before.

I was reading about QT, and he has this ritual when he begins a new script, of buying blank notebooks and red and black felt-tip pens.

Perhaps a subtle homage?

If Vernita had been using a box of Fruit Brute, I'm sure her accuracy would have been spot on.

I don't remember if there's a detail like this in the film, but if there is, then that's completely understandable. It's just another postmodern wink. Makes sense: The Bride is narrating to the audience.

I'm pretty sure he throws these things in on purpose. It's actually pretty cool to dig them up . I like the entropy/atrophy one. When I heard that I was like "What?"

Yeah, when the camera moved to MY right, I'm thinking "no the other way, that's not who she's talking about"

Yeah, that was the first one I caught.

I just finished watching the DVD, and still all I can say is "Wow!". Can't wait until Friday!

Was the thread starter maybe pointing out that the bullet hole was in two different places in each shot? They're not even on the same wall!

I thought I read that taratino purposely put mistakes in because the old kung-fu flicks didn't care about continuity, so there were mistakes all the time
