Any buzz about Garden State?

Saw the trailer, it looks like a good movie. I'm shocked that Braff is apparently more than just a comedic actor, but it looks like a really visionary film (and apparently Sundancers agree).

I haven't really heard anything about it, but I can't wait to see it. Just from the trailer, it looks like my kind of movie.

Damn, this movie does look like it's going to be pretty good - just watched the trailer.

This is the first I've heard of it though so I won't be much help.

It's one most anticipated films to come out this summer and I cannot stop watching the trailer it looks like it have many quirky comedic moments filled with many dramatic pieces as well, I love the song in the trailer and of course Natalie Portman looks so beautiful and I hope she will give a wonderful performance in the film and as well as the rest of the steller cast.

Saw a test screening with ZERO some months back for this. It was damn good. Plenty of Portman moments and a scene where she jumps into a pool with the group in her undies

Zack's script is over all good. It will satisfy a sort of Indie market and break through to the mainstream because of his role in SCRUBS but I don't see the general public really embracing this film as it does have that indie feel.

The acting is top notch and the story is there. Good performances all around. The music selection was also well placed.

I've watched the trailer about 57 times. I'm definitely looking forward to July 30. So far away, though.

I checked it out on IMDB just to see what other people had thought. Its rating is unusually low. Further investigation, however, shows that of 280 votes, 37 people voted 1. Take that how you will.

Remember that couple that tried to leave without doing the survey?

I agree with Jack the movie was good, and I'd go see it again.

How did I now know about this? I always know about Jersey film happenings, and Natalie Portman is my number 1 Hollywood crush. Wow, can't believe this one slipped by.

Looks great, definitly looking forward to seeing it.

I remember EW gave the film a very "harsh" review during their time at Sundance...

But the theatrical trailer (which I saw before Eternal Sunshine...) and the internet exclusive trailer have sold me more on the film. I cannot wait for this film to come out.

Screw EW - I'm sorry but I can't stand them - If it's not mainstream their not interested (to a point) IMO.

Rottentomatoes has a few reviews, all fresh.

I'm still looking forward to this one. Has a release date been set yet?

I love the new trailer, and I can't wait to see the film. It opens July 30th in limited release, but hopefully it will expand there after.

I'm loving the song "Let Go" by Frou Frou, which is in the original but not in the current trailer.

It really works without dialogue, this should be a really good film.

It's 100 % at Rotten Tomatoes on the morning of July 26.
10 fresh, 0 rotten

Excellent film. Almost as good as Eternal Sunshine, but not quite. Well worth seeing multiple times.

Me too, I'm really looking forward to picking up the soundtrack when it comes out in August.
