This has to be some sort of "April Fools" joke...it just has to be....
Maybe Ashton Kutcher is punking us.....
If we're lucky...... maybe this film will just hit the comic book circuit like Corman's Fantastic Four.

Wait, does she by any chance give herself a kitty tongue bath in this movie????
If so, maybe I could be convinced to watch that part.
We may have to invent a new word that could possibly describe the power with which this movie is sure to SUCK.

This has to be an April Fool's joke, it just has to be. I wasn't expecting much from this, but what I just saw...YIKES!!! This flick is really gonna need a great trailer and great reviews before I even think about stepping into the multiplex. Oh, I bet Tim Burton is crying right about now.

Is this "catwoman" based on the batman comics or something entirely different, perhaps a "Dark Angel"-like genetic engineering origin? Because that is seriously messed up if it is based on Batman.

2 things
1. If they take the name "Catwoman" and disassociate it with the DC characters then it looks like a fun adventure movie.
2. While watching the trailer I got the feeling I was watching a "CAMPY" version of Catwoman like the Batman show of the 60's. Since so many bitched about Batman being "too dark" may be this will work on the "CAMPY" level?

So.... considering that I have absolutely nothing but scathing remarks for what I've just seen, if I belittle a movie in a thread that is about telling us how the suckage is worse than we thought, does that still count as a threadcrap?

I think the only redeeming factor for this movie is Benjamin Bratt. Unfortunately he can't save this movie from pure sucktitude.

I guess they one credit that I can give Warner Bros. is that they have managed to you unite DVDTalk at a level that I have not witnessed before. Even The Cat In The Hat had a few defenders . . .

I WILL see Catwoman. Why? 2 reasons: 1) I have $5.50 to waste and 2) I love BAD movies. This has this year's Gili written all over it.

So, in that way, they have tried to disassociate this character from the DC character. However, if they were really trying to disassociate it from the DC character, why not call it "Lady Feline" or something else that doesn't immediately conjure up an image of Michelle Pfeiffer in skin-tight vinyl?
I'll stick with Batman Returns and Cat People for my "women acting like cats" fix.
