looks good for a few laughs, except the ending where vince and ben had that little conversation in the bar vince sounded a lot like seth cohen imho.

i think it'll be funny. stiller is better when he's not the straight man.
I do like the mockumentary idea. the clip on apple trailers has that feel to it. came off decent.
nice to see bateman there in the previews. looks like Arrested Devbelopment is paying off ofr him.

Oh man the clip is so much better than the trailer. That's how I pictured the movie when I first heard about it. My hopes are much higher now. It was hilarious to see Ben get pegged in the face and go flying back. I can dig that.

I think it looks crappy. Is it me or is it Stiller last handful of movies look sophmoric? I wish he would go back to Meet the Parents or Cable Guy.

I saw posters for this and thought, "Dear god, have both Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn lost their minds?" And then I saw the trailer and completely changed my mind. Very funny. I'm surprised Stiller didn't direct it.
The best part is when Stiller asks out what's her name and she coughs and says, "I just puked a little into my mouth."

Good to see Stiller back playing the comic role (as in Zoolander, MTV Awards skits, Ben Stiller Show) and not just the straight man to the comedy (as in Starsky & Hutch, Along Came Polly, Meet The Parents, There's Something About Mary, everything else). This looks like a winner.

The idea sounded pretty good, but the trailer didn't do much for me. I'm sure it'll be funny, but i'm not anticipating it as much as I was.
And to answer your question, no I don't think it'll be the next Old School. I loved that movie, it was in my Top 3 of last year. Just because they both are comedies and happen to have Vince Vaugn, I wouldn't even compare them.

If by "the next Old School" you mean "mediocre movie that wasn't very funny, had a hackneyed premise, and bored me to tears"...then yes, I'd say it could be the next Old School

saw the trailer for this yesterday, and it looks terminally goofy -it's either going to be a hit or tank. Every thing about the film looks so garish - and that's probably the point, but ugh, Vince looks ugly as hell (looks like he took one to many dodgeballs to the face 
)

cmon now.. old school was pretty good... as far as goofy/ funny movies go.. plus had a lot of quotable lines.. and has a high re-watch factor. Right up there with tommy boy.. not quite as high though.
