I think it has to much set up to be done before it even is established. It can be done, I'm just confused on how.

It's easy. Peter Parker is sent on a news story to investigate an asteroid crash in upstate NY. While he's there he sneaks around going where he's not supposed to be and finds the symbiote. Before he even realizes what it is it leaps right onto him. Peter can't get it off him until he gets back to the Daily Bugle. He gets it off him and throws it out in a dumpster outside the Daily Bugle at the same time Eddie Brock is spying on him. (Because Peter had been acting strange since coming back from the asteroid crash) So Eddie dumpster dives (danol style minus wheelchair) and there he finds the symbiote they combine to become one that is Venom. Now that's just a shortened version. Peter could wear the symbiote a lot longer and actually use it but I don't think that would work out too good.
