Well if they make that as an excuse to entroduce the alien symbiant then it would make some sense. It would have been nice to have peter in the black suit.

I really don't think Venom is necessary, and Sam Raimi himself said he never understood the appeal of that character and that no Spider-Man movie directed by him would feature that character.

Venom was the villian folks always like for some reason. I just don't think it would make to much sense and/or piss off fans of the comics more so than the mary jane coming first deal if the films didn't protray spidey's black outfit before they introduce venom.

Yes, peter dumped the glasses in the comics over time. But that is over a series of years of comics. This is a different ball park as in it's still spidey's early years. For the most part he still needs to look like the nerdy college student that makes up peter parker. The glasses are a key in that image so uuhhhhhhhhhhh the nitpicking should be tossed out.

Wouldn't the Modern rock noise be the downfall of venom?
