Report a distant second.

Best film: Eyes Wide Shut. Best performance? Eh ... probably the same.

It's Rain Man. Hands down. No contest. Hoffman had the juicier part, but Cruise deserved an Oscar nod as well...he was fantastic in the film.

I'll second Vanilla Sky, with Minority Report and Jerry Maguire running close seconds to me. One thing about Cruise, imho his films have been getting better all the time -- he's choosing some excellent movies.

I just wonder why Cocktail isn't the numero uno choice for each and every member of the forum.

I voted Rain Man. But honestly, he has quite a few great movies under his belt.

Vanilla Sky and Magnolia, so I voted other. Out of what is included, Rain Man. Funny, Other is in the lead now.
