Bigfoot in garbage bin movie. What is it?
About 15-20 years ago I saw a horror movie, but the only thing I remember about it was a scene in a dark alley where there was this Sasquatch-like monster hiding in one of those alley garbage bins with the heavy-lift lid. Someone lift up the lid to throw something away and the monster grabbed him and did his business.
What is this movie? BTW, if anyone ever watched Sci-Fi's scare tactics there was an episode where these kids were stuck in an RV and being terrorized by a Sasquatch. The Sasquatch in that episode kind of resembles the Sasquatch in the garbage can. Thanks. |

Definitely "Harry and the Hendersons"
(but it's probably not as scary as you remember) ![]()

cheapskate, are you sure it's "Harry and the Hendersons?" That was a family-friendly film. The film I'm referring to must be a horror film, because the monster hiding in the garbage bin killed the guy who opened it. That doesn't seem like Harry's M.O., although I could be wrong. The film I remember must be 15-25 years old.

I was just kidding about Harry... he's harmless.
But now I feel guilty because you took the time to reply... ![]() Could be one of these four movies... they're the only ones that fit the time frame. Capture of Bigfoot, The (1979) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0124307/ Curse of Bigfoot (1976) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0074365/ Night of the Demon (1980) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0081229/ Snowbeast (1977) (TV) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0076731/

Thanks cheapskate and DonnachaOne. These are some good references to start with. Hopefully this film exists and wasn't a childhood hallucination.

![]() You know... I never realised how many Bigfoot movies there were... and they're all terrible! I think the thread title says it all; these Bigfoot movies should stay in the garbage bin... ![]()
