Maybe like Angelina Jolie?
Jennifer Garner looked to "Everygirl" for me.

While I like Jennifer Garner and have no problem with her, the way they wrote her character in DD was WAAAAY OFF from the comic counterpart.
If you have read the comics, you would know she is one of the most feared and deadly assasins in Marvel. Also, she is not always working on the right side of the law. The movie really watered her character down to make her more Jennifer Garner than Elektra. Also,
Who knows, maybe the Elektra movie is a prequel to DD, which could make DD a bit better if that is true.

What I don't understand is why anyone would want to do a spin-off of a movie that wasn't that good to begin with? Did Daredevil really do that well at the box office?
Is this a new trend? I can't think of another movie (other than Scorpion King, which was planned before Mummy Returns) that did this.
It seems to me people would be turned off by this. Nobody I've spoken to has really thought DD was anything more than an OK film.

Besides, since Elektra is an original comic book character, it's not like they just made her up and now are doing a spinoff. There's plenty of material on the character and in the end it probably won't be any different than other "lesser" comic book movies (i.e. The Punisher)

Stamp Lights Up Fox's 'Elektra'

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Veteran English actor Terence Stamp (news), who played the superpowered villain General Zod in 1980's "Superman II," is finalizing a return to the comic book genre with a role in "Elektra," the "Daredevil" spinoff starring Jennifer Garner (news).
Rob Bowman is directing the Fox project from Marvel Studios. Garner will play a beautiful and deadly assassin who was trained by the Hand, a clan of mystical ninjas. When she turns her back on them, they want her head. Stamp is in final negotiations to play Stick, Elektra's blind mentor, who has fighting abilities of his own.
Stamp's more recent credits include "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," "The Limey" and "The Haunted Mansion." He has a cameo in the upcoming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," which stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

While I like the idea of Stamp, I always pictured Fred Ward as stick. Still, I'm not thrilled about this movie.

Could I just say I left my brain with scott1598 at work(school) so I wouldn't have to worry about grammar?
