Not sure if these are entirely relevant to what you are looking for, but maybe try:
King Solomon's Mines (1950) - Stewart Granger Valley of the Kings (1954) - Robert Taylor Legend of the Lost (1957) - John Wayne She (1965) - Ursula Andress, Peter Cushing The Southern Star (1969) - George Segal/Ursula Andress King Solomon's Mines (1985) - Richard Chamberlain Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1987) - Chamberlain Congo (1995) - Michael Crichton (writer) Lara Croft 1&2 maybe some of the old "Tarzan" films Abbott & Costello Meet the Mummy the Fifth Element had some archeology stuff in the opening Last edited by flixtime; 01-19-04 at 03:39 PM. |

There's a movie with Antonio Banderas called "The Body" which is about an archaeologist in the Middle East who finds the remains of Christ.

...and if you like those movies, you'll love Chuck Norris and Louis Gossett Jr. in FIREWALKER. It's a true "Video Treasure". ![]()
