It looks like a good holiday movie.

Eh. It looks alright. I would have rather had Speilberg and Nicholson but this could still be good.

In theory, I want to love this movie. But I can't say the trailer does much for me.

I was eagerly anticipating BIG FISH, but the trailer is really a let-down. Visually it doesn't look as Burton-esque as I had hoped, and it looks pretty sappy. I do understand that it's a trailer though, and I'll still see it most likely because the people who cut trailers are generally cutting them for the masses.. middle aged old ladies in this case. I also hate when trailers name-drop "from the imagination of Tim Burton"... I guess the writers had nothing to do with the story?

Forrest Gump on drugs was what I was led to think before seeing the trailer...

Forrest Gump on drugs is what I think now.

hope it's good.

That trailer is awful, and it makes the movie look awful...

I quite liked the trailer, but it does help I love pretty much everything Burton has done (excluding Planet of the Apes).

I just wish it would be out sooner than January. This looks like the type of film that could open well over the Christmas holiday, but I guess they are trying to avoid LotR.

Looks excellent and I am glad to see Burton get back to what he does best. Planet of the Apes was not him. I cannot wait for this and Charlie and the Choc. Factory.

I liked the idea of the movie before I saw the trailer. I'm not nearly as excited about it now.

I like Burton a great deal but I thought the Planet Of The Apes trailer was far better than this one.

Better quality version.

It could be interesting, I like asian siamese twins.

I was really looking forward to this film when I first heard about it and still am, but the trailer made me slightly less excited.

It certainly doesn't have the Burton look I was expecting, but it could just be the trailer. Parts of it were in there but it was only glimpses. Hopefully they saved the best visuals for the film. The ending of the trailer seemed to be a bit more typical Burton but maybe it was just the music at the end that fooled me. That was Edward Scissorhands' score wasn't it? It fits, but I hope it's only for the trailer. Elfman doesn't need to recycle.

Whatever, I will certainly be there when it opens.

I liked the trailer a lot, but it doesn't give too much of the movie away which is a good thing. It also didn't seem to have the Burton-esque look like Drop mentions above, but it looked interesting. I'm certainly curious, and with Tim Burton at the helm it should be good.

Besides The Return of the King - this is the movie I'm most looking forward to this December.

Looks like he is doing another sad sappy life story like Edward Sissorhands, which I thought was a great movie. Hopefully Big Fish will be good since I'm going to see it tonight.

This is great, to read all these very positive reviews. I'm glad it's not so sappy, and like Forrest Gump (which I do like). Edward Scissorhands is my favorite Burton, looks like it may have some serious competition. I'm looking forward to this so much more now.

Looks odd..Not sure what I think.

Off-Topic slightly, but I just read that Burton will not direct the sequel to 'Planet of the Apes' that Mark Whalberg is attached to. Thank God.

I believe he means "thank god that Burton won't further taint his name by making another bad movie"....but the Willy Wonka movie just might do that. Then again, he says he's taking his time and waiting for a great script, so anything can happen.
