Well, Bruce Lee did make one masterpiece IMO, but it wasn't Enter the Dragon, it was Fist of Fury. A great mix of the standard style, sets, cinematography, themes and some of the choreography of HK kung fu movies, but given a jolt by Bruce's intense, inventive choreography and his amazing screen presence. Especially if you can find the Media Asia DVD which has a great, informative commentary track by Bey Logan.
I'm not the biggest Bruce Lee fan in the world, either---I often feel his real-life abilities have been greatly exagerrated. But watching Fist of Fury really makes me realize how much potential for martial arts movies was lost when Bruce died. Lets face it, if Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Yuen Woo Ping, Lau Kar Leung, Sammo Hung, etc. had ended their careers after the first four movies they made, no one would be talking about them 30 years later.
