Longest timespan between a movie and it's sequel?

I was just watching The Hustler w/ Paul Newman and got to thinking. The Hustler came out in 1961, and the sequel, The Color of Money came out in 1986. That is a 25 year timespan. In this day and age, sequels are a dime a dozen, in fact hollywood usually banks on the sequel just in case a movie does well at the box office.

What are some other movies that made us wait so long for part 2?

The Hustler (1961) --> The Color of Money (1986) = 25 years

Gone With the Wind 1939 --> Scarlett (TV min-series) 1994 = 55 years

If a TV show counts?
