Spun (Unrated) Questions

2 quick questions:

1) Content wise what is different in the rated and unrated cut? It's not just blurred out stuff or bleeped out words that you see in the rated R cut, as apparently there are several additional minutes in the extended cut.

2) Can someone explain the ending?
Spoiler:
Why does the cook go into the trailer and blow himself up? What is Eric Roberts' role and why does he give the Cook all that money and dope and gasoline? It made no sense to me at all

Interesting and occasionally funny movie. Worth a rental. Great cast.

1. Don't know about any changes.

2.
Spoiler:
I don't think The Cook killed himself on purpose. I thought it was a meth lab accident, sort of like the one he had when he blew up his hotel room.

Eric Roberts gives him more meth-making chemicals, presumably because The Cook will supply him with either manufactured crank or with money from the sale of the crank.

I am almost positive that the R-rated cut is identical to the unrated except with some profanity bleeped and nudity blurred. Both DVDs are listed as 101 minutes.
