I finally saw Seabiscuit today, and I really liked the film. I love that it took time to build the characters, and you really felt for the their characters during their ups and downs. Tobey Maguire and Jeff Bridges were excellent in their roles. Chris Cooper was pretty good, and William Macy was quite hilarious.
I haven't seen a movie that got me really emotionally involved with the characters in quite a while, which was a breath of fresh air. Also the horse racing scenes where really exciting to watch and nicely shot. I give it ***1/2 out of **** and I think the film is going to give me a good read, which I have been looking for.

Yup, took the wife to see it last night. Liked it alot.
I loved Chris Coopers performance, as well as Jeff Bridges. Tobey Maguire is still growing on me, I'm appreciating him more and more as an actor in each role he takes.
@ Will Macey... that was classic. That man will win an Oscar one day.
I loved how they incorporated the narrator (author David McCullough) and the stills from the era.
We done.
