It's tough today because not only do we have so much leaked information that gets mainstream publicity, but official trailers regularly include material from the third act. As a writer, I have always shied away from discussing anything from the last half of most stories with people who have yet to read, see or hear the work.

Having said that, I know as a reader that if I don't want anything spoiled--or even to have preconceptions going into something--it's in my interest to avoid threads discussing it until after I've seen it. We all knew that Captain Kirk was going to die in Star Trek Generations because they practically advertised as Star Trek: We Kill Kirk in This One, but

. Of course, that was 1994 and I had no Internet access anyway. Strange that I didn't know that, too, considering there's a shot of it in the trailer.

they should make a button for spoilers whenever you reply. Like for example we have a quote option.

I went looking for this info in the FAQ section and there's nothing about spoilers there. There should be an entry for this in the FAQ section.
