PREDICTIONS: "The Hulk" Box Office 6/20-6/22

Let's put down some numbers...what do you think the Hulk will make in its first weekend? Whoever gets closest...well, gets nothing.

I'm gonna go with an $80.2 million take...due to the 2 hr 18 min. length. It'd definitely get more otherwise.

EDITED: Meant 80, not 90, my bad.

I think Hulk will get some substantial competition from Alex & Emma. Why? Because it's a date movie, pretty much the only one of its kind for the summer, and a lot of guys who might want to see the Hulk will go to see this one at the insistence of the GFs.
Hulk predicts $65-70 million for Hulk, because Hulk knows to chase booty!

Although I'm eager to see it myself, I say mixed fanboy buzz leaves it around $60 million tops.

I'm even less optimistic. This thing just smells like a stinker to me. I'll say $50million, and hope to be surprised.

edited for spelling goof

More than a dollar, less than the national debt.

I agree. I know a lot of my casual movie going friends just don't have any desire to see this.

I say $70 tops.

Then again, I predicted Titanic would be a gigantic flop.

I heard the movie wasn't going to open at all yet because Hulk Hogan is suing the producers over the use of his name.

Anyway, I say $68 million.

$86 million sounds good to me.

By the way, have a friend who went to a packed sneak preview of this last night, and the general reaction from the crowd was "thumbs down".

Suprisingly, the reaction to the special effects was POSITIVE...people were upset with the storyline and the tone...my friend says there's not a "good guy" to root for in this movie - everyone, including Dr. Banner, is a bit of a jerk.
