Great villains in the movies are always great when they get a rise out of you and just can't wait for the hero to kick his ass!!!

Some that come to mind:

Air Force One - Gary Oldman
The Abyss - Michael Biehn
LA Confidential - James Cromwell
Last of the Mohicans - Wes Studi
Nosferatu - Max Schreck (sorry, but he was just too ugly)

Carol from Oleanna, a play and subsequent film by David Mamet. I wanted to beat this girl senseless near the end of the movie, watch it and you will agree.

Come to think of it, in this two character movie, both players can be seen as the villain.
