3.The Untouchables
4.Scarface
5.Goodfellas
With a favorite mention to Resevoir Dogs... some of you may not consider it a true GANGSTER movie... but thats where i would put it.

No since listing what everyone else has but no mention of Bound so far?

So I'll give it love, it just doesn't make my top 5.

1. The Godfather and Pt. 2
2. Goodfellas
3. Once Upon a Time in America
4. Donnie Brasco
5. Casino
Honorable mention: Usual Suspects (not really a gangster movie), Scarface (ditto), Road to Perdition, and the vastly underrated A Bronx Tale.
Admittedly, I have not seen Miller's Crossing.
In last place: Deuces Wild.

Nothing new to add as far as listing my top ones...However would we consider putting The Sopranos in there...Although not a movie, the first 2 seasons are better than a whole lot of movies out there...

I love Bound. I think it's still the Wachowski brothers' best film (and I like both Matrixes).
So I'll give it love, it just doesn't make my top 5.

I agree it was a look at Ralphie before Tony got a hold of him.

Put this often overlooked gem in there to replace the duplicate:
Last Gangster, The (1937)
Edward G. Robinson and James Stewart together
BTW: Add
Whole Town's Talking, The (1935) onto my list too. Now that's a great film!!!!
