1. Monty Python and the holy grail: Their excuse Its a comedy classic, not a cult classic
2. A clockwork Orange Their excuse: Kubrick is a mainstreme director
3. Mommie Dearest Their excuse: Judgement call
4. Princess Bride Their excuse: one director per movie
5. Swingers Their excuse: It ranked 51
6. UH1 Their excuse: They have seen it (aka, they hate that movie)
7. Vallley of the Dolls Their excuse: how many camp movies can you have on a list
8.Fight Club their excuse: Too many arguments
9. Dead Alive aka Braindead their excuse: re animator and evil dead 2 are more important
10. Better off Dead their excuse: Heathers was better
11. Donnie Darko their excuse: Too new.

I've seen 20 and only own The Big Lebowski.
Where's To Live And Die In L.A., Assault On Precint 13, Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry, Vanishing Point, The Driver, Fresh, The Wanderers, or even Night Of The Creeps ?

I don't see why The Shawshank Redemption is on this list. It may have underperformed at the box office. However, It's a mainstream film which has been successful on video and TV.

ANIMAL HOUSE, ENTER THE DRAGON were big blockbuster hits, so they can't be cult movies.
SOMEWHERE IN TIME from 1980 was a huge bomb, got it's following on cable. Even the Spec. Ed. dvd talks about the following this movie has.
What's so hard for getting these Movie Lists right?
AFI is always crap, but EW?

Ive seen about 90% of them and own about 30% of them, great list even though Boogie Nights should be on there, but maybe that was a little to popular and fightclub should be on there also.
