Movies where most of the violence is implied

I thought I'd try this thread out.
For those who don't know, implied violence is when you don't see it actually occur, so we have to assume it happened.
Pulp Fiction
The Silence of the Lambs
Se7en (if we actually saw
Spoiler:
Gweneth's head cut off and physically put in the box, it would either be NC-17 automaticlly or look too cheesy)

There was a lengthy discussion on the Fight Club commentary about how most of the violence is implied. It is still really violent but much is implied

One of the most notorious movies for implied violence is Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There is so much you think you see, which shows the genius of the film.

David Lynch's "Mulholland Drive" would be a big one for this topic.

There are so much implied scenes in that movie, which is how Lynch makes that movie interpretrational (SP?).

I second Se7en. It amazes me when people say how violent the movie is and when I tell them we only see one of the murders take place, they don't believe me.

It's still pretty violent, but in Snatch, all the deaths take place off-screen.

Dr Zhivago, was watching this last night and noticed so many shots were focused on another character's reaction.

I saw Apt Pupil last night and there was one scene of implied violence.

Spoiler:
When Todd hits the pigeon with the ball

Also American History X, the curb scene, you don't see anything but it always makes me cringe.

Implied Violence in Mulholland Drive?

Pulp Fiction is a good one, the scene with Bruce Willis and the samari sword is the perfect example.

Spoiler:

Pulp Fiction doesn't leave a lot to the imagination when Jules blows that kids head off and the brains splatter on the back window. Also when that random lady with the groceries gets a bullet.

Yeah, there's a lot of implied scenes in that movie that doesn't actually occur...

Spoiler:
One example is that when Rita arrived at the house all beaten up by the limo accident, they never really showed it in the beggining...

Oh, and the Stanley Kubrick movie "Eyes Wide Shut" is another big one.....

Spoiler:
It's the scene where Bill Harford is talking to the hotel desk clerk to find out to what happened to Nick Nightingale. The desk clerk explains that Nick was taken away by two big men, and they violently attacked Nick and sent him back home to his wife and kids

And another implied scene from "Eyes Wide Shut":

Spoiler:
Bill Harford is sitting in a coffeehouse reading the paper, he sees an article in the paper that Mandy had died, they never actually showed her death

Oh yeah, that was Vincent who shot him. We see a quicky shot of the brains, but we don't see the head exploding,
