I finally got around to watching the What Lies Beneath DVD and at the very end of the film right before it fades to black you can clearly see a dead face form on the snow (presumably the dead girl's). I never caught this when I saw the film in the Theater but I really noticed it on the DVD.

I didn't notice it, but have since rechecked said scene after hearing about the face in the snow.

I also never saw the face in the theater, but noticed it when I got the DVD. I kind of wish it lingered on the face just a couple seconds longer.

I always thought the face was of Harrison Ford, I thought the idea was for a sequel. His ghost could come back & haunt/kill the new occupants of the house he lived in, like The Others

I don't thnk it was made to be easily identifiable so it could be either people or someone else! But it was obviously a human face though!

Yup, noticed it on DVD first time I saw it. It is the face of the dead girl. Kinda hard to see, but once you know it is there, you can easily pick it out.

Ditto. I saw it in the theater--best as the screen was fading to black. I thought it was the girl's, though.

That was unique. I never thought I read news about one movie and be treated to a spoiler for another (unrelated) movie. JJE-187, I wish you'd have put in a spoiler warning.

I was about to comment that, as the others, I had never seen it in the theater either....

Oh well, on the positive side, I guess he saved me a rental fee.
