Has anybody seen "The Junky's Christmas" (1993)?

I just finished Burroughs' "Naked Lunch" and am starting to read "Junky". I once saw an ad for this 22-minute clay animation short film called "The Junky's Christmas", narrated by Burroughs himself and based on his short story of the same name.

Has anybody seen this short? What's it like? It's obviously not available on DVD, but I'd love to see it.

Here's the IMDb link:

I believe Bravo used to play it. It is excellent. Burroughs narrates the story: The Claymation is done very well, in kind of a Rankin Bass way. Hopefully IFC or Sundance will show it at some time... if you're a Burrough's fan you'll love it!

I've got it on tape someplace. I'd swear it's more like 10 minutes. They used to air it on VH1 back when some folks around there had a perverse sense of holiday cheer. The track is the same as the one on "Spare Ass Annie and other Tails." There's also "The Priest They Call Him" with guitar clanging by Kurt Cobain. Nearly the same story.

What makes it stink like that? Mexican leather?!

I can remember the VH1 showings.

You'll like the book, Tyler. If you're interested in trying smack after reading it, nothing would've ever stopped you.

Heh, we'll see. I'm halfway through and, eh, let's just say I have no particular desire to try it at present.
