Both the b&w Treasure Island with Jackie Coogan and Wallace Beery and the color Disney production with Driscoll and Robert Newton were great.

And the Bugs Bunny cartoon with Yosemite Sam aboard the pirate ship was killer!

My favorite (almost) pirate movie is still "The Princess Bride." I agree, we need a really good pirate movie...with ninjas!
