I had extremely high hopes for this and love both Stiller and Wilson, but was pretty disappointed. It was entertaining enough, but never exceeded expectations, and for every joke that hit, there was probably 2 that missed. A decent matinee or rental, but not the "classic" I was hoping for.

MATT

I find it hilarious about the fuss Todd Philips made about "Eurotrip" being marketed to sound like he made it...because I thought Euro was twice as funny as Starsky and Hutch... he should be so lucky.

I thought this was a good movie but not great like Zoolander. Snoop Dogg and Will Ferrell were great as well. Chris Penn scared the bejesus out of me...especially on a huge screen. Can't wait for the DVD. Must have Wilson/Stiller commentary, now that would be sweet. To finish i'll just say DO IT DO IT

Wow, that really wasn't good. I had high hopes going in. I've loved all of the previous Stiller/Wilson collaborations (well, permanent Midngiht wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't a comedy...)

But this, this just wasn't very funny. There were a couple funny moments, but not enough to carry the movie. The Disco scene... the disco scene was actually painful to watch. Halfway through it, I was thinking "Ok, why'd they put this in here... it's not funny, it's going on way too long, and it's REALLY not funny."

Also, the "do it" guy was tolerable on The Ben Stiller Show, for about 30 seconds, and the clips only ran about a minute. However, it was massively overdone in this movie. Yeah, again it was tolerable for a short amount of time, but then it just got really annoying

It's been a while since I've walked out of a movie and said "Whoa... that was really bad" but now that counter has been reset.

I was expecting more from it, but still came away fairly entertained. I can't remember the last movie I came out of saying 'wow, that was bad'. I thought the DO IT parts were hilarious though.

'great' & 'Zoolander' in the same sentence. That is the funniest thing I have read all week.

I thought this movie was hilarious.

Did anyone catch Vince Vaughn's character talking on the corded car phone?

And the same party band singing at the Bat Mitzvah that was in Old School.

BTW, who played the greasy disco dance-off guy? He looked familiar.

Now, now, now, many of my friends love Zoolander. I didn't really like it that much, but there's a few people I know that think it's just the funniest movie ever made. It's a certain taste I guess.

S&H, great movie by the way. I loved the end where
Spoiler:
the car goes into the water of course. And I also got a kick out of the driving bloopers.
As others have said, I was hoping for more, but what i got was good. I believe I gave it a 7.5/10.

Does anybody have a sound clip of Stiller, in disguise, saying "Do it. Do it." to the waitress? That cracks me up, but I can't find it anywhere.

I saw the movie this past weekend and thought it was okay, had some funny moments. I will be looking forward to the R or unrated DVD...

I went to see this last night and enjoyed it quite a bit. It built a great atmosphere and had great fun mocking itself. Stiller and Wilson both did fine work, but it was the supporting cast that clinched it for me. Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman were both fantastic as your stereotypical coke dealers. All in all, great fun!
