I loved it. It was very funny and clever, watching how Frank pulled off the things he did. I couldn't believe how fast it went by considering how long it is. It literally felt like a 90 minute movie.
Highly recommended!

I thought it was a solid and entertaining movie. Nothing exceptional for Spielberg, but I doubt he was trying to do that anyway. I give it a solid B+. Would be an A-, but I felt it got kind of bogged down with the woe of Christopher Walken. (Even though he is an awesome actor!)

When Frank does his first impersonation - as the substitute teacher at the school - what drove him to do that? Was it the bully that shoved him in the hall or still a desire to prove something to his father?

I think part of the reason he acted like he did was because
I thought it was GREAT to finally see Christopher Walken again, in a good movie in a good role doing an excellent job.
I, too, would like to know exactly which parts were dead on accurate and where the "artistic license" was taken (e.g.
It sure makes sense that
I always thought that's what they should have done with some of those incredibly talented but misguided computer hackers...

Saw this today and my best friend and i were both nodding off through parts of the film. Never actually fell asleep but...
Wasn't nearly as bad as AI and just slightly better than Minority Report.
Too long. Characters were ONE dimensional. Repetitive. Wasn't horrible...had great performances.
Watch the opening credit sequence and you'll know pretty much everything that happens.
I'd give it a C+.

I enjoyed it. A rather light romp for Spielberg, but after the heavy AI and technical Minority Report, it's nice to see something in the 'dramedy' category. It's a little weird to see Walken as a 'nice' guy though.

I don't watch as many movies as most of you guys but I did throughly enjoy Catch Me if you Can.
I watched this yesterday and thought it was a wonderful "sit down while the baby naps" kind of flick. Sure there wasn't anything great about the movie except the story. I too would like to know which parts of the story were stretched for the big screen as opposed to what happened in real life.
So what exactly did his father do to be in trought with the IRS? Did he not just pay his taxes?
