I haven't had the heart to break the news to Spring Green yet. To think they were all one family a few weeks ago. Now three are dead.

No crayon, just a tattered envelope, an adoption certificate, and a tiny speck of *sob* orange blood.

so...orange and plum have escaped their envelope...damn renegade crayons

wonder where did they escape to?

Thanks to Brett, I can now (hopefully) present Wisteria.

Wisteria is VERY responsible. The first thing he did was pay his share of the rent. But I had to hold his checkbook for him, given that he has no arms.

Wisteria and I are still getting acquainted with each other, but he's apparently fascinated by this whole Mars thing. Here, Wisteria is gazing at Mars when it was at it's closest to Earth. Hey, it was REALLY close last night.

The best way to get to know someone is over a few drinks. Okay, so we had a few too many drinks...

Wisteria seems to really like SmallBall. Here, he is being my ass trainer while I nurse my hangover.

The mailbox just stood there gaping it's big empty mouth at me. No crayon #2 today. Maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow.

Why use PhotoShop with Paint does the job!

The other 3 are straight off the camera though...

As for your Mars pic, did YOUR crayon get to see Mars at it's closest? I think not!

Ok, after Razzmatazz's rough introduction to the family a couple of weeks ago, he has finally started to venture into the bowels of Southern California. No trip to California is complete without some evening rush hour traffic:

We decided to bring home some dinner that defines Southern California, and can only be had here:

Little Razz has a BIIIG appetite!

More to come. I am doing field work in Burbank tomorrow, so maybe Razz will get to try on a nice orange vest and measure off some distances for me.

Tropicana: You work at UPS? I am so sorry. I know your pain.

Oh man, those are Animal Fries! They put a slice of cheese, some grilled onions, and some 1000 Island on them. I just found out about them a couple of months ago. Just say that you want your fries Animal Style. (You can get a burger Animal Style too... they grill the onions and add pickles to the burger)

Did I mention I don't normally eat fast food.

But that looks obscene. I think I will try it.
