Thanks for the feedback.

I expected that there may be some people unhappy with the crayons dying. The thing I do not understand is why we do not go get another auction and start some bidding. There were 2 offers made for shipping them out and both were politely refused. The crayons had served their duty and had nothing else to do. They are not needed, to be put up for auction by anyone. Nobody wanted them at their house. I was not keeping them here. I was not shipping them back to philosophyshop. I think his actions speak to being left alone.

All we have to do is find some others to bid on and hope they do not have some known sordid past once they are bought. 'Cause I can tell that if their history was a little cleaner they may have gotten passed on. This story ends here only if we let it. Anyone feel the urge to purchase something totally silly? Someone find an auction.

Well, I thought I was supposed to ship the crayons back as "payment". I still have the straws. I guess I can ship those. Unless you want to ship me the burnt crayons (!!) and I'll ship that out to him.

Imagine the surprise that not only did I end up with his $200 crayons, I burnt them, then sent them back.

I also need to post pics of the typewriter, it was in far worse condition than described. And it doesn't work either.

Wow. Worst ending to the "best thread ever" ever. I feel like a part of me is missing. Possibly a crayon part.

Bur wait, hope springs eternal..

in a genius move, only created by days of drinking hard whiskey and many sleepless nights...
