Honda Civic / GSR swap! A day working on the Hybrid **56k stand about 8 miles back**

It's been a while since I've posted here on dvdtalk. Just thought I'd share how I've been spending a lot of my recent time. I've sold all 246 dvds and have about 4 now. Went down to Daytona this past weekend for a BIG car show and spring break. We had a great time. Anyhow here's how I spent today. This is day 3 working on this swap..... Got out to the car just before 8a.m. and finished cleaning up everything just before 4p.m.

Pop's laying the oil pan gasket to rest

What it looks like beneath the oil pan for you guys who don't know (It was my first)

Shot of the oil pan screen assembly and I believe the flywheel in the background. Someone correct me if I am wrong

Flywheel (??) up close and personal. Nice sharp teeth even though the color is not that great

Motor installed:

The BEAST that put the BEAST in :P

--Ran 4 different colored 18 gauge wire through the firewall for vtec
--I have to get gaskets to put the OEM piping on the headers
--Install the axles / shift linkage
--Add fluids
--Install the new radiator
--Put the suspension back together
--Install OBD1 P72 ECU
--Wire everything up top
--Install GSR cluster once everything is running smoothly with no CEL's!

Oh, and I'm going to see if I can race this baseline Dodge Viper the Pakistans just bought down the road. There's also a Yellow Integra Type R I am looking forward to meeting head to head.

The Type R might not be a stretch, but why would you even ASK an owner of a Dodge Viper to race you? That's just asking humiliation.

I don't race and don't condone it (on the street), but that just sounds stupid to me.

Stock motor -- High 13's - Low 14's

On slicks -- Mid to High 13's

Moderate mods on slicks -- Low 13's
