Replacement Snapper Cases (NOT replacing snappers)

So there are several sites that sell replacement alpha and amaray cases. I want to know where I can get replacement snappers. Many ask "Why on Earth would you want to?" My reason is that I have broken spindles in some snapper cases and I dont feel like going through the effort of replacing my snappers with keep cases at this point in time (I am an all or nothing type person, and I dont have the money to print up 50+ high quality covers as well as pay for that many keep cases). Anyone know where I can get these? Thanks.....

inetdvd.com doesn't sell replacement snappers, only keep cases. There is an address posted in this thread where you can return your broken snapper and get it replaced:

http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htfo...ferrerid=16858

If you do, I'd be interested in hearing how long it takes to get replaced.

I have to return my broken one just to get a new one? How stupid is that? Its not like its an actual DVD and they need proof I bought it...just send me a $.50 snapper...Im smart enough to figure out how to use it.

When you send it in do you take off the cardboard cover art and just send the black plastic tray?

The HTF thread I posted above said to take off the cardboard cover art and send in just the tray. I'll email the lady and confirm that for sure, since she didn't specify one way or the other in her instructions.

Wow, they got right back to me. The answer is yes. Take the cardboard cover art off and send in just the tray.

Considering how many people replace their snappers with keep cases, I would think you could arrange (read: postage) for someone to send you their old ones. Just a thought...

On a semi-related topic, anyone know where I can get a replacement Close Encounters slipcover? I sent Columbia/Tri-star a snail-mail letter requesting a replacement and they basically gave me a “screw you” response (despite having sent a proof-of-purchase tab and even offering to pay for it).

Brian,

I think that's a great idea. Even worthy of starting a thread specifically for that purpose.

BTW, do you have any unused snappers?

Id like a cover for The X-Files movie that matches the Season sets. I want to keep the movie in the proper space on the shelf with the box sets, and I want it to look like a slim version of those.

Looking for a cover for the Patch Adams: Ultimate Edition. If anyone has one, please email me it. I'd also accept a scan of the Collector's Edition as it's at least a starting point. I would really appreciate it.

I know I already asked this in the previous thread, but in case it was overlooked, would it be possible for someone to put together a cover for My Bloody Valentine using the original poster art? The new cover isn't the worst Paramount has slapped together, but for nostalgic reasons, I'd much prefer the original miner cover, thanks.
