Why can't anybody sing these songs without butchering them?

And why can't they sing without spastically waving their hands around?

Think he could botch a 13 point lead?

Probably could..

Actually I feel sorry for him - he's not bad at all and had two very very very "unlucky" games.. his rep will be tarnished for a looong time.

... or just have someone with actual talent sing. And, yeah, that would exclude most of the popular singers of the past few years.

Check out this version of "America the Beautiful" that Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora just recorded to encourage relief donations... I like it

His rep is the least of his problems. Doesn't matter what people may think, if you can prove them wrong. But those two games took a giant dump on his psyche.

It's bad that we're sitting around thinking "Kim sucks." It's worse that he's probably doing the same thing. This isn't going to be easy to recover from.

Yup, pretty much so. The Yankees win tomorrow and tonite is forgotten..Yankees lose tomorrow....then it could be a MAJOR blemish on the records they hold

Nah, plenty have sung these in the past and not screwed them up. The problem is, so many people try to do it differently, to make it "their own." A perfect example was Whitney Houston's version of the Star Spangled Banner. Everybody loved it, and she just sang the song without all the extraneous BS. (It's still the only thing I can listen to her sing.)

You know, I just heard on Fox News, that George Steinbrenner was asked to throw this game for rating-purposes ...

It looks like the series is indeed RIGGED/FIXED ...
