I guess all I had to do was ask. New 4 day sale from eureka. I'm picking up a few on my wishlist.

How long does shipping usually take when ordering from Eureka directly? I ordered two films on March 11th and haven't received them yet.

I am surprised the April offers haven't been posted here yet:

http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/offers/MoChome.html

I'm trying to decide whether to get Shoah and the Kurosawas, or wait for better prices.

My few orders with them typically took about week to arrive here in NJ. They respond very promptly to order-status inquiry emails (I used the email address they use for Paypal payment), I'd suggest you send them an status inquiry.

Both Scandal and The Idiot are part of Criterion's 5-film Kurosawa Eclipse set, and the MoC discs only include brief Alex Cox intros, so you're probably better off picking up the Eclipse set during the next B & N 50% off Criterion sale, most likely in July.

Heh, thanks, I already own that set and didn't realize those two titles were included.

I cry thinking that they have to price the Naruse set at 15£ to get it to sell. Is there a better $22 deal in all of cinema?

Edit: What the hey -- picked up Gandahar.

If you're a Pialat fan, you should check out L’Enfance-nue, also on sale. I noticed that Gandahar has been discontinued. Perhaps it will get a HD release, like Fantastic Planet.

Thanks NoirFan, but I've got the other Pialats except for Police (I was waiting for this deal) and A Nos Amours (happy with the Criterion). I love these monthly Masters of Cinema offers!
