Korean R3 Days Of Being Wild + As Tears Go By Boxset
Has anyone brought this, or any review out there?

I bought the previous release of Chungking Express + Fallen Angels. Very happy with both picture and sound quality.
Wonder if this one also greatly improved both sound and picture, compare to all the previous R1 and R3HK edition??
Thanks for any commet!

Ack... no English subs? How bizarre! But hopefully this means new English-friendly releases with (hopefully) excellent new transfers a la Chungking Express/Fallen Angels are coming down the pike.
I was just about to purchase the R2-UK "Wong Kar Wai Collection" release that includes "As Tears Go By", "Days of Being Wild" and "2046", all of which appear to be the best existing releases (per DVD Beaver). It just went down a bit in price to £24.99.
Zombeaner (or anyone with the R3 release), would you mind taking a look at the screen captures for "Days of Being Wild" and "As Tears Go By", and let us know if you think the new R3 transfer looks better than R2 WKW-Collection that's the best of those Beaver comparisons?
If they are superior transfers, hopefully we'll see some English-friendly releases on the horizon.
