Last Wednesday, I placed orders for:

Spaced Series 1
Blacks Books Series 1
Spaced Series 2
Blacks Books Series 2
Black Books Series 3
Dog Soldiers

in that order. I was hoping that was the order they would be shipped in so I could vary my viewing schedule slightly. I got the 'order shipped' emails on Monday. I got Black Books Series 3 in the mail today. Needless to say, my viewing schedule is a little askew now. I suppose at least I am receiving my orders.

Brent and Bill, your links don't show the discounted price when clicked. is it supposed to? I wouldn't want people to be confused or rather click away and check out without paying attention to the discounted price.

Worm, I'm guessing you used your world cup vouchers? as per your "at least I am receiving..."

Got a shipping notice on Monday, and received all six DVD's today. I'm tempted to place a second order now and get The Descent...

If you see what Brent stated, you have to use the Iowa link to get that price.

Which is this one: Iowa Discount

Yeah, I did. Though I have not had any problems in doing so. I was actually kind of referring to an order I placed at AllDVD.ca last Monday for Night Watch. I'm still waiting for it and have no idea what's going on with it. Frustrating. And also, I got my other 5 DVDs from CDWow yesterday.

Check out www.dvdcompare.net Here is the listing for A fistful of dynamite. I don't know if I'll pick up the others but will be picking this one up for sure.

What's the difference betwen the $7 version of "Speced - Season 1" and the $26.00 one?

http://www3.cd-wow.us/detail_results...ct_code=365994

The cheap one doesn't list any of the extras in the description. Is it really missing them? The cover looks like it lists them (in very same print). Does cd-wow ever screw up the cover photos?

it should be the same one. the $26 is the "warehouse" price one even though the "warehouse" is no more they have combined everything so sometimes you get the same release twice or more. If you noticed the once that say the region in the format (DVD region 2/3 etc) these are the regular stock. The ones that say (2-Europe and Japan) are what used to be the warehouse.

Is there much of a trend to shows showing up in the 6.95-9.95 range? Like will Green Wing or Big Train every be that cheap?

My guess would be that Green Wing won't be that cheap for awhile yet. But here's hoping.

I'm basing my guess off of nothing really. Just a shot in the dark.

When I bought Big Train from CD-Wow (about 15 months ago) it was $15.95 or so. Hopefully it'll get down that low again sometime.

That price sounds good. I hope it comes back. And I hope darkplace comes out at a similar pricepoint.

I just got back from vacation last night and I'm looking over the site, and I like the changes that I've seen so far. It looks a lot more professional and slicker.

Are these DVD's totally legit? I just got Black Books 1-3 and Phoenix Nights 1-2 today. The cover of Black Books 1 and both Phoenix Nights covers look kind of grainy. I noticed this with the Spaced Series 1 art too. The discs are completely fine, it just seems odd that so many of the covers look kind of like garbage.

Regardless of the art, I'm loving Phoenix Nights and Spaced is great. I can't really seem to get into Black Books, maybe it's the laugh track, but I'm only 3 episodes in. (Bilbo is funny though)
