CDWOW vouchers, promotions, news, opinions etc

Gotta give credit to Romerojpg for this as he posted this over at the import forums .

This is just like the old link that gave the big discounts.

Shaw Bros dvds for under $10 again.... the great deals we all loved!

I totally forgot about this link as I used it previously.

Romerojpg

Well this voucher latley has been hell, sometimes it works, sometimes not it seems you just have to try once in a while and flush out your cookies apprenty sometimes

Today it worked and knocked the most off ever $8 off 2 dvds I just got

So here you are. Its a link, just click it and see whats cheap as some things dont go down much, some do Smile if you find anything that gets $8 please tell us all

Ong Bak Aussie dvd and Katie Melua: On The Road Again are both down to $15 and thats $8 off!! cracking, so keep your eyes peeled.

A few rules 1st, no using vouchers with this link! or your order will be canned by cdwow and your cash refunded as its gaaisnt rules so just use the link alone.

CD Wow now carries several discs from the Masters of Cinema collection, which is more or less the UK answer to Criterion (spine numbers, excellent booklets, great cover art, etc). Titles like Sunrise, Shindo's Onibaba and Kuroneko, Kurosawa's Scandal, and many others are on CD Wow for only $14.95, which is much cheaper than ordering from the UK in most cases (Amazon usually wants about £15 each, last I checked). A handful of other MoC titles are $17.95. Just search under "masters of cinema" for the list of titles they have.

Also, the Australian release of Gojira/Godzilla-King of the Monsters is just $13.95, which is a good deal also. The Japanese version has English subs, also.

Not all the items are over $2 off. Only some if you can find them. The maximum discount is $8 off.

Still no joy after using both Firefox and IE6 and clearing cookies in both. Anything else I can try?

Edit: Finally got the damn thing to work! I tried the link from the Import Forum and for whatever reason it worked!

I tried everything I could think of to get the link from this thread to work. But no luck. Then I went to Import Forum, and that link worked!

I got Company Of Wolves for $14.95. I'd been waiting to find a good price on that.

Thanks Bill for the heads up on the coupon, thanks Josh for the heads up on COW and thanks Fincher for the tip on Import Forum!

I grabbed a couple of the Masters of Cinema discs: Vengeance Is Mine and Punishment Park for $14.95 each. Damn good price! Might end up adding The Face of Another into a second order, although it's $17.95... The Edko R3 House of Flying Daggers 2-disc is the only other thing really grabbing me at the moment, but probably not enough to actually order it right now.

Comfort Eagle: Did you use the link directly at the Import Forum? That was the only way it worked me many of us.
