"Adventures of Milo & Otis" - original longer cut, Japanese version - ??
Is this available in Japan or elsewhere? I remember reading along time ago that the Japanese version was 14 minutes longer and didn't have any voice over, only relying on the music and sound effects.

YesAsia has the Japanese version, search Koneko Monogatari
Although I believe there is narration in Japanese, and I don't think there are any versions available with English subs.

The reason for the editing was, I guess the Japanese version was quite violent. They ended up killing several cats and dogs during the making of it since what they had them do was so dangerous (obviously, the ASPCA wasn't on board).
I've never seen the film having heard all the horror stories about its making.
