Hey guys .. and the ladies ..

I've found one site that lists a DVD that I need to have that all others list as out of stock. That film would be "When the Last Sword is Drawn" .. Korean LE 2 Disk.

Anyone have any experience that they would be willing to share about this site? It's appreciated ...

It figures that I eventually find such films after they've gone OOP .. and I'm not willing to pay $45+ for the Japanese release ... just yet.

I placed an order for the Hero ultimate edition from them on 3/2 and have not received any sort of confirmation. Their site's credit card system does not appear to be secure, so I used PayPal instead. Now I'm wondering if I should file a claim.

theDVDetective has When the Last Sword is Drawn in stock. I've ordered from them a few times without problems and they are a US based company that ships from Colorado.

I don't know if this is the edition you're looking for but there is also a 1 disc version a lot cheaper at DVDfromKorea a lot cheaper.

I sent a message to their Customer Service section last night, and they updated the status of my order to Shipped. Maybe they just needed a kick in the pants?

I've heard reports that people received "new" items from them that were clearly opened and used. If this set had been in stock anywhere else, I probably would not have risked this place.

My HOFD was shipped on Feb. 20. Should be here soon...I hope.

For what it's worth, my Hero Ultimate Edition arrived today in good order. The shipping box was even wrapped with a pretty little bow!

Everything appears fine. The set was still shrinkwrapped, not second-hand.

I don't know that I would use them again, especially since their prices are pretty high, and their credit card server does not appear secure at all (definitely use the PayPal option), but for a set that I couldn't find in stock anywhere else I'm glad it all worked out to my satisfaction.

glad to hear you got everything ok! i agree that they are pricey, and i only use them as a last resort for stuff i can no longer find anywhere, be it sites or ebay. they seem to have a good inventory (and they of course know this, and charge a LOT for some of their stuff).

I received my HOFD LE yesterday. Looks like its a brand new and unopened set.

Like I said, I used the PayPal option. I would never enter my credit card number on an unencrypted web page.

I use asiandb for research only because their prices are too high... but I would be confident in ordering from them if the price was right.

Never received my order with them. Had to make a paypal claim to get my funds back.
