Problem with pressure on the hub (Hero ultimate edition)

Hello,
I just received my Hero ultimate edition (korean version) this afternoon. It looks nice but I have a problem with the central lock that hold the DVD. I noticed the lock is too tight and bend the disk around the hub area. The pressure is too much I think. This is only happened to my Hero ultimate edition that uses digipack with patent no USA EU 0017403. The same digipack case can be found on Hana and alice limited edition (korean version). So my question, does this will cause permanet damage to the disc. I'm very worried especially when the title is already OOP.

i hear that! that's why i hate digipacks; depending on the maker, it's sometimes tough to pop the disc off the hub. my R1 star trek and some warner sets are like this. i find taking them out initially is a big challenge, but once off, push on the hub a few times to "loosen" them up (but be careful not to push too hard or you may break it), and popping the disc off the hub should be easier the next time.

Hmm...I just checked my Hero, and I dont have any problems whatsoever with the hubs...its even the same patent number...maybe you got a few bad ones

danish,

you are probably right...maybe I got the bad ones... I tried to solve the problem by not pushing too hard the disk into the case...the 'lip' that support the outer edge of the disc seems not level with the lock mechanism in the centre.

Perhaps just keep the disc in a jewel case beside the digipak? I know it's not aesthetically pleasing, but hey, it will keep everything safe...
